Nan Weber on Writing and Her Plans for the Future

Milwaukee native Nan Weber, author of Singing in the Saddle, The Life and Times of Yellowstone Chip, received her BFA in theater arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ms. Weber has also lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Seattle, Washington; and various towns in Montana. She now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her musician husband, Paul Boruff. In addition to numerous stage scripts and screenplays, Weber is also the author of Mattie, A Woman’s Journey West.  

After bagging the Golden Quill Award from the League of Utah Writers, the Xlibris author is now in a league of her own, setting herself apart from the competition. In Singing in the Saddle, Weber tells the heartwarming story of a farm boy named Yellowstone Chip Samuell who was classically trained in music and dreamt of becoming a true Western cowboy.
